About HisaabTools
HisaabTools is a free collection of calculators and PDF tools for small businesses, sellers, freelancers and students in India. Every tool runs in your browser, states its formula, and shows the date it was last checked against current rules.
Who runs this site
The site is built and maintained by Basant Upadhyay, based in Kolkata. I have spent 24 years in IT infrastructure, business operations and process automation, and I build the tools here the way I would want them for my own businesses: accurate, fast, and without asking you to upload your files or sign up.
How we keep the tools accurate
- Current rules. GST calculators follow the GST 2.0 slabs in force from 22 September 2025. TDS figures follow the Income-tax Act, 2025 for FY 2026-27.
- Tested maths. Every calculator is checked against worked examples before it goes live, and each page shows its formula so you can verify the result yourself.
- Dated reviews. Each tool page shows when it was last reviewed. Tax pages are reviewed after every Budget and GST Council change.
- Honest limits. If a tool can’t do something, such as reading a scanned PDF, the page says so.
Your privacy
Calculators and PDF tools run entirely in your browser. Numbers you type and files you open are not sent to our server. See the Privacy Policy for details, including how advertising cookies work on this site.
How the site is funded
The tools are free. The site is supported by advertising, by optional paid templates and guides, and by some affiliate links, which are always labelled. Advertisers and partners have no influence over how the tools calculate results.
